got my bw results
So, the nurse called me today to tell me the results of my prolactin bw. Seems that it is only slightly raised. (She said it was at 36, but didn't say the normal range, and I didn't ask.) So, as of right now, no meds. They will re-test as we get farther along, and go from there!! So, good news, well, better than I thought at least.

I remember a time when my prolactin levels were elevated. I was super emotional and my bbs hurt like I was PG. Hopefully that number goes down.

@Breen. My levels have always been elevated, due to a tumor on my pituitary gland. Last two times I had to take meds to lower the levels before transfer.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know what prolactin is? I wonder it we don't test for it in the UK or if we have a different word for it. Maybe I'll do some googling.
ReplyDeleteWhen you said no meds at first I thought you meant no meds for the prolactin so it was good news? Do you mean no IVF meds so it is holding you up? That is rubbish.
